U.S. Men’s U-17 coach Richie Williams has called upon thirty eight players to join his national team camp for a week of training and scrimmages at U.S. Soccer’s Training Center in Carson, California.

Two of those players are from the Red Bull Academy while four others come from local programs.

Defenders Tyler Adams of Wappingers Falls, N.Y. and Matthew Olosunde of Trenton N.J. are the lone representatives for Red Bull Academy in a pool of over three dozen players. They are joined by Tri-State talents Nikkye De Point (DF – Revolution Empire; Rochester, N.Y.), Kyle Gurrieri (MF – NJSA 04; Totowa, N.J.), Thomas McCabe (MF – PDA; South Orange, N.J.) and Pierre Da Silva (F – New York Soccer Club; Port Chester, N.Y.).

Most of the players are born in 1998, but due to his standout work with the U-15’s, Tyler Adams (’99) joins five other players as the youngest participants in this camp.

The camp will serve to fill out key participants in two upcoming international tournaments: the 2014 Nordic Open Cup Tournament in Kolding, Denmark (July 24-Aug. 3) and the Copa de Mexico in Mexico City (July 30-Aug. 11).
