Two of New York’s brightest young players — Tyler Adams and Jonathan Lewis — made the cut.
United States Under-20 men’s national team Coach Tab Ramos released his 20-player roster for the 2017 CONCACAF U-20 Championship on Thursday.
The tournament, hosted by Costa Rica, serves as the route to the 2017 U20 World Cup and runs from Feb. 17 to March 5.
The United States is in Group B along with Panama, Haiti, and St. Kitts and Nevis. Ramos and company will open the tournament against Panama on Feb. 18. The United States will then play Haiti Feb. 21 and St. Kitts and Nevis on Feb. 24.
Every tournament match will be broadcasted the United States on Univision networks.
Topping the are New York Red Bulls academy product Tyler Adams and NYC FC‘s recent SuperDraft pick Jonathan Lewis.
