Does anyone else have an issue with “legal” ticket scalpers?! Ticket scalpers are gaining access to the private pre-sales and purchasing thousands upon thousands of tickets. Ticketmaster prices for the Chelsea vs. Man City game in Indy range from $30 to $135. Ticket scalpers, who unfairly access the tickets before the general public, are selling the tickets for threefold or more. For instance, check stubhub (actually, any of the large ticket scalper sites). The $30 tickets are now $145 and up! The $135 tickets are now going for $250- 525! You may say that this does not have anything to do with you since you plan to buy your ticket through Ticketmaster. The REALITY is that you will more than likely have to go through a ticket scalper to be able to attend the game. For example, the Chelsea vs. Man City game in St. Louis sold out within 20 minutes of opening to the general public. The general public DID NOT buy all of those tickets. Ticket scalpers did during the pre-general-public sale. Why should you have to pay more than the tickets are worth so that ticket scalpers prosper at your expense?! There is a great need for Reform which prohibits this activity. Know your laws:… and Push for REFORM. We do not have to take this!! —American Soccer Lover Pushes for Reform
