HARRISON, N.J. – Red Bull Arena is set to host another international friendly.

Shortly after the announced Brazil, Costa Rica encounter in Harrison for September 5th, the New York Red Bulls have officially announced the long-rumored match between Colombia and Peru on Tuesday, September 8th at 8 p.m.

World Cup darlings Colombia are currently fourth in the FIFA World rankings. They face a strong Peruvian side who played the Cinderella role during this year’s Copa America, making it all the way through the semifinal before eventual champion Chile sent them packing. Colombia was eliminated by Argentina in the tournament quarterfinals.

This is the second straight year Colombia has featured at Red Bull Arena and the fifth time since 2010. They played against El Salvador and Canada last year, beating the Central American nation 3-0, and their Northern rivals 1-0.

New York Red Bulls partners and ticket holders will have an exclusive presale window beginning tomorrow, Thursday August 20, at noon. Tickets will go on-sale to the general public on Friday August 20 at 10 a.m. Tickets are available by visiting Ticketmaster.com as well as calling the TicketMaster Hotline at 1-800-653-8000.
