Life goes on after an exciting run through the World Cup for the U.S. Men’s National Team.

Following an announced bout against the Czech Republic in Prague for September, the Football Association of Ireland confirmed their senior team would take on the USA in November. Ireland will host the confrontation at the Aviva Stadium on the 18th.

U.S. Soccer have yet to confirm the match.

The last time these two teams met was 2002 when Ireland beat the USMNT 2-1 at Lansdowne Road in the lead up to the World Cup. Coincidentally, that is the same site where the newly constructed Aviva Stadium sits, pitting both teams in familiar territory.

The FAI announcement follows weeks of rumors pitting the USA and Ireland in a match. Other reports have the U.S. taking on Colombia at the Alamodome on September 9th and Ecuador in October — another domestic fixture.

Neither have been confirmed.
