They say love is blind.

Manchester United took that mantra to heart.

With time running out, the Red Devils looked set for a loss to West Ham. However, Daley Blind picked a great time to score his first goal for his new club.  Rafael played a ball into the box that the Baggies didn’t deal with enough. The ball bounced to the top of the box and Blind struck the ball into the bottom corner with his left foot.

Instead of losing for the third time this season, they picked up a third draw in a 2-2 result. On the flow of the game, it was probably a deserved result although the Baggies will be disappointed coming so close to the three points.

Stephane Sessegnon gave the Baggies the lead  in the eighth minute. Andre Wisdom sprinted down the right channel and centered the ball. With his first touch, Sessegnon fired into the top corner to beat David de Gea.

The Red Devils pulled things together with a fine bit of individual skill. Marouane Fellaini chested down a lobbed pass from Angel Di Maria, turned to create space for himself and fired past Boaz Myhill. The goal came two minutes after his introduction and was the first of his Red Devils career.

However, Saido Berahino continued his scoring form to push West Brom ahead once more. Chris Brunt played a defense splitting past that Berahino latched on to. With plenty of time and space, he raced on goal and hit a right-footed shot past de Gea. The United defense probably should have done better allowing large gaps in their backline.

The Englishman now has six goals on the season.
