The U.S. Men’s National Team released their 24 man roster for Wednesday’s World Cup Qualifier against Honduras at San Pedro Sula.
Bedrock American options Tim Howard, Clint Dempsey, Jozy Altidore and Michael Bradley lead a European heavy roster which includes the returning Fabian Johnson, Timmy Chandler and Jose Torres to the roster. Sacha Klejstan also makes the cut as does Augsburg’s Michael Parkhurst. Sean Johnson, Matt Besler, Brad Evans, Omar Gonzalez, Brad Davis, Graham Zusi and Eddie Johnson made the cut from this January’s camp and represent the core of the Major League Soccer contingent.

Eugene and Chuck – those are stats – and verbage – copied word for word from the USMNT press release.
I’m scratching my head trying to figure out what numbers are you using for the caps – are these world cup quals/tourney appearances?
The ussoccer.com release says those are World Cup Qualifying caps. Otherwise, Clint, for example, has over 90 international caps.
My apologies …. I could have sworn I made that clear and didn’t! Explains the confusion (I need coffee …)
