Red Bulls Sporting Director Andy Roxburgh may not prefer to loan out his top stars, but some seem eager, if not ready, for the possibility. reports New York have “given the go ahead” for Thierry Henry to rejoin Arsenal for a third straight time, but the length of said loan deal is still in dispute. According to the report, New York would want a six week loan to start on January 1st, but Arsene Wenger are looking for a more extended stay.

Meanwhile, Rafa Marquez is making the party circuit in Mexico as his Foundation hosted a fundraiser this week. Of course, the question of a loan deal to Atlas was discussed and the former Mexican captain left the door open for a move despite the public stance of his current club.

“There is still time, there are still a few weeks, you can’t throw in the towel,” Marquez, 33, told the gathered press. “There are a lot of changes in Red Bull, mostly in the management. We don’t have a coach and until that is resolved, I can’t leave.”

And what of Tim Cahill? In a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal, the Australian legend gushed about his time in Major League Soccer. However, Cahill expressed a strong desire to make a loan towards Everton for the New Year in comments edited from the published video. Seeing Red co-host Mark Fishkin was privy to the recording where Cahill said, “I’m too active a player to sit around for two months.”
