EOS Picks: Sky Blue FC End of Year Awards

The 2016 campaign did not go as well as Sky Blue would have hoped. Then again, few expected the team to be a viable contender entering the season.

Sky Blue managed to make their way through some bad results and injury to make an earnest run at the playoffs — an ambitious push that fell just short of the postseason mark. After securing just two wins in their first nine matches, Sky Blue got hot in the summer months, going on a 4-1 run. However, they eventually settled back into their previous form, dashing any hopes of a playoff berth.

Despite that, Sky Blue enjoyed several standout performances from veteran players and rookies alike.

The EoS staff gathered this week to vote the End of Year awards for each of the local professional sides. Today, we start with Sky Blue:
