One person who seemed impervious to the heat was newcomer Sebastian Le Toux. After falling quiet in Vancouver, he seems reinvigorated in his short time with New York. The Frenchman pushed Chicago back, desperately trying to run through the defense despite the heat, and eventually showed off some of his midfield skills as well with a gorgeous cross to Henry for the game winning goal.

Erik Soler said Le Toux would bring a different dimension to the Red Bulls, both as a striker as well as a distributor. Though the conditions limited his play, both skills were on full display.
