College: Attended Georgetown University. Started 12 of the 13 games he appeared in during his rookie season (2009), scoring one goal and earning Big East All-Rookie Team honors. Followed that up with an impressive 2010, tallying five goals and seven assists while starting all 20 games for the Hoyas. Named Second Team All-America by College Soccer News, Second Team All-Northeast Region by the NSCAA, Big East Midfielder of the Year, All-Big East First Team and team MVP for his efforts in the 2010 season.

Named team captain for the 2011 season and started all 19 games for the Hoyas during the season, scoring six goals (including three game-winners) and adding an assist. Named Second Team All-Northeast by the NSCAA and Second Team All-Big East, and picked up TopDrawerSoccer.com’s College Team of the Week award after strong showings against Penn and Princeton.

Started all 26 games for the Hoyas in the 2012 season and contributed two goals and two assist as Georgetown reached the College Cup final. Earned Third Team All-America honors from the NSCAA and Second Team All-American honors from College Soccer News, as well as his second All-Big East First Team nod. Named to TopDrawerSoccer.com’s Team of the Year.

Club: Played with the Chicago Fire’s U.S. Development squad for two seasons … Prior to working with the fire, spent seven seasons with the Cedar Rapids Soccer Association … Was a team captain for both squads all nine years … Won seven Iowa State Championships with Cedar Rapids … Won the Midwest Conference Championship and placed sixth at national with the Fire … Honored as a U.S. Development Academy Mid-American Starting 11.
