The United States is only days into camp ahead of the Peru and Brazil friendlies and Jurgen Klinsmann is already calling in reinforcements.

Tuesday afternoon, the United States Soccer Federation announced the addition of Jonathan Spector to the roster bringing the team up to 24 total members.

Spector last received a call up in March of 2015. However, the player’s last appearance for the Stars and Stripes was in the historic 1-0 victory over the Italian National Team in Genoa back in 2012.

The player currently plies his trade with Championship side Birmingham City in England. Spector has appeared in the club’s first four matches of the 2015/2016 campaign contributing to their current unbeaten streak.

The United States is currently in Washington D.C. preparing for September 4th friendly with Peru at RFK Stadium.
