U.S. Men’s National Team striker Julian Green is headed for a change of address.

Amongst the flurry of transfer day moves, the 19-year-old Bayern Munich product is leaving the club on a season long loan to fellow Bundesliga competitor, Hamburg.

Hamburg barely hung on to their spot in the Bundesliga last season, finishing 16th out of 18 teams and surviving a relegation playoff to maintain their position. While that may be bad news for the organization, it can be a good thing for Green, who will be looked towards to spark the team’s offense. Currently, Hamburg has continued their strife, picking up a single point in two Bundesliga matches. The team has yet to score a goal, while allowing three.

With Bayern, Green did make the team’s bench through two matches this season, but failed to garner minutes in limited chances.

Green finishes his involvement in this cycle with the USMNT after Wednesday’s Czech match, putting him in line to feature for Hamburg against Hannover on the 14th.
