The Road to Russia starts here.

United States Men’s National Team head coach Jurgen Klinsmann’s 26-man roster for their upcoming World Cup Qualifying matches against Mexico and Costa Rica is set in stone — and there are some interesting selections.

Notable roster additions include Cameron Carter-Vickers, Caleb Stanko, and Julian Green. Carter- Vickers, a youth product from Tottenham, has the opportunity to earn his first cap for the United States. Playing in the first division of Switzerland, Michigan native Caleb Stanko earns another international call-up after consistent performances in Europe. Julian Green makes another return to the US roster after exciting performances against New Zealand and Cuba last month.

Red Bulls’ Sacha Kljestan also returns to the fold — the only New York based player on the roster.

They join USMNT main stays Jozy Altidore, Michael Bradley, Jermaine Jones and Tim Howard in a balanced roster of youth and experience.
