New Jersey’s own Michael Bradley will be manning the field at Red Bull Arena when AS Roma take on El Salvador this Friday the 27th.

Bradley, 24, recently put pen to paper, making the move from Chievo Verona to one of Italy’s most storied clubs. He debuted this week against Polish club Zaglebie Lubin, adding an assist in a 4-0 route in Chicago’s Toyota Park.

The young American midfielder will be joined by legendary Italian striker Francesco Totti, Bojan Krkic, Nicolas Andres Burdisso amongst many others.

Besides being a local boy, Bradley cut his teeth with the then Metrostars organization. He was the youngest player ever to be transferred from MLS when he joined Heerenveen of the Eredivisie before going onto Borussia Mönchengladbach and eventually, Aston Villa and Chievo.
