Beckham seeking new investment: David Beckham’s Miami ownership group is reportedly seeking a partner for its project of bringing MLS to South Florida. Namely, Beckham is in talks with Paris Saint-Germain, the last club he played for, about the sale of an equity stake. PSG, which is owned by Qatar Sports Investments, is reportedly just one of multiple interested groups. The MLS board of governors would have to approve any changes to the majority ownership of the club. Beckham received the expansion franchise at a significantly reduced price as part of his contract with the LA Galaxy.

Orlando close in on Nocerino: Days after being warned to back off of Antonio Nocerino, Orlando City is reportedly nearing an agreement with DC United for the rights to sign the AC Milan midfielder. Nocerino, 30, is a former teammate of Kaka. Milan’s CEO has stated that Nocerino is off to Orlando, but nothing has been confirmed by the clubs or MLS as of yet.

Eric Miller traded to Colorado: The Colorado Rapids have acquired defender Eric Miller from Montreal in exchange for allocation money and a pick in the 2018 SuperDraft. Miller was picked fifth in the 2014 draft, and has played 30 games over two seasons for the Impact.

So it was all a master plan from becks and garber, but I wonder if becks will pull out in years to come to pursue another MLS market such as San Diego or a third team in NY. ( Becks and leweike make a great team for MLS, one does the face talk and the other the business)
Speaking of MLS, I remember garber saying Qatar sports was interested in red bull and Miami, I wonder if garber made them go the Miami way instead of red bull, given that Becks needed help with money.
I would like to know the whole story this Qatar sports decision.
Also, let’s say Qatar is in, and the other powerful rich people still want MLS, will garber sell them a new market or an existing market.
