The U.S. Men’s National Team’s post-World Cup calendar continues to fill up, this time with an encounter against CONCACAF rival, Honduras.

The USMNT will host Los Catrachos at FAU Stadium on October 14th in Boca Raton, Florida. The match will be televised live on ESPN, WatchESPN, UniMas and ESPN Deportes Radio.

“Honduras has proved that they are one of the top teams in CONCACAF,” said head coach Jurgen Klinsmann in a statement. “As we begin our preparation for the Gold Cup, this is a great opportunity for our players to see the type of opponent they will face next summer. We continue to find huge support around the country, so it’s exciting to bring the Men’s National Team to a place it’s never played before. We are looking forward to a great crowd at FAU Stadium.”

While Honduras crashed out of the 2014 World Cup, they are still a threatening and growing program having qualified for the tournament for two straight cycles; a record for the Central American country. The U.S. holds a healthy record lifetime against Los Catrachos (14-4-3), which includes an 11-2-2 record on American soil.

The Honduras encounter is third in a series of year-ending friendlies for the USMNT. They start their competition with the Czech Republic in Prague on September 3rd before heading to Connecticut for a friendly against Ecuador on October 10th.
