New faces incoming for USA, New Zealand match

The U.S. roster is set to welcome some new faces.

Longlost strikers Juan Agudelo and Terrence Boyd highlight the seven new additions to the United State’s squad for their final friendly match early next week.

Following the United States’ ugly 2-0 win against Cuba Friday afternoon, head coach Jurgen Klinsmann announced multiple roster changes ahead of their Tuesday night friendly against New Zealand. Seven new players will make the trip to Washington, D.C. while an additional nine will return to their respective clubs.

Kellyn Acosta, Juan Agudelo, Matt Besler, Terrence Boyd, Bill Hamid, Michael Orozco, and Tim Parker will join Klinsmann’s squad in the nation’s capital. John Brooks, Geoff Cameron, Timmy Chandler, Ethan Horvath, Fabian Johnson, Jordan Morris, Christian Pulisic, Chris Wondolowski, and Bobby Wood will return to their current clubs.

With the massive swap, the United States’ roster holds a total of 20 players for Tuesday night.
