Felix Vazquez pleaded not guilty to all charges stemming from his alleged involvement into the postgame incident outside the Orlando City Stadium after New York City FC’s season opening loss on March 5.

Vazquez faces the most serious charges of the three New Yorkers arrested that evening, including aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting an officer with violence, both felonies. Court documents show that he and his lawyer did not attend last Thursday’s arrangement.

Vazquez is accused of choking an Orange County Sheriff’s Deputy as a confrontation between New York City and Orlando City supporters escalated. Two other New Yorkers have already pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from the incident and have trial dates scheduled for later this summer. Court documents show Vazquez’s trial date is scheduled for Aug. 21. The trial is expected to last up to three weeks.
