#NYCSoccerWarz: The May-July Campaign

The Green side of NYC surged in May, stretching their unbeaten run for a second straight month. Four wins and two draws allowed them to pick up the lion’s share of the points.

The Red Bulls swooned for most of the month, seeing their own unbeaten streak end at the hands of Philly. A brutal home loss to Philly and a last minute defeat at Seattle were only countered by their dominant sellout win over the blue side.

As for NYCFC: their own streak could not be snapped, going winless for two straight months. They salvaged draws at home against Chicago and Houston, while their road woes continued, suffering a historic first derby loss in Harrison and a beatdown at the hands of Jason Kreis’ former club in Sandy. Without a positive result, they fell deeper into the hole.

Where’s our points for getting our owner the most amount of free advertising? Man, Red Bull is great. Nothing like starting your day off with the taste of baby aspirin.
