Red Bulls release full preseason roster, including trialists

Felipe, Ronald Zubar, Damien Perrinelle and Andrew Jean-Baptiste are all set to compete for starting jobs with the New York Red Bulls, but several others are still looking to make an impression.

New York released their full roster of camp participants, including a list of trialists and Academy players getting a look by the club.

Ibrahim Sekagya and Marius Obekop join the preseason camp fighting for a spot with their former club. Academy product Juan Sebastian Sanchez joins the team in Florida alongside trialists Rafael Diaz, Collin Heffron, Shawn McLaws, Anderson Cajano, Mike Grella, former Red Bull Tim Ward and former Red Bull Academy product, Bryan Gallego.

    The back line group of players are horrific and we have no fowards outside of BWP. I’m sorry, I know Mike Grella is a local Long Island guy but he is terrible. Unless there are some serious changes, this has all the makings of a very long season.

    There’s really nothing to say about this organization that hasn’t already been said. Obviously, Ali C had retreated to his office and Marsch is the Face now. Gonna be a lot of empty seats and echoes in Harrison this season if things keep going the way they appear to be.

  • Weak,weak,weak…frankly it is shocking how far we have fallen. The pool of forwards and defenders is difficult to fathom. Is our scouting that poor? Or are we really just that cheap?
