The round of eight is set and the teams now know who they will face in the quarterfinal round of the competition.

At this stage of the Champions League, there will be no easy games:

Barcelona v Atletico Madrid

Barcelona and Atletico Madrid were already dug deep in a battle for the La Liga crown. Now, they can also knock each other out of the Champions League. Whichever one comes out victorious may carry that confidence into the league and win the title.

Real Madrid v Borussia Dortmund

Real Madrid romped past Schalke in the previous round and Dortmund could be in trouble here. The German side allowed four goals to Zenit and Real boast more attacking talent. Cristiano Ronaldo continues to bang in the goals. Combined with Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema, Real will be tough to stop in the final third.

Paris St. Germain v Chelsea

Jose Mourinho looks to win a Champions League trophy with three different clubs. PSG have mercurial talent Zlatan Ibrahimovic leading the line and will test the Chelsea back-four over the two legs. Eden Hazard continues to drive the Blues attack and continually improved form from Samuel Eto’o makes this the most intriguing draw.

Manchester United v Bayern Munich

There is a lot of history between these teams in the Champions League, with United’s comeback in 1999 and Bayern knocking the Red Devils out in the 2009-10 season to stop the Red Devils from reaching three consecutive finals. This Red Devils version is heavily the underdog, but will they rise to the level of their opponents? If United can manage to get past Bayern, it will be a massive victory for the club and David Moyes, who has been much maligned this campaign.
