New York made the cut.

The Red Bulls, New York City FC and the New York Cosmos will each have representation at this year’s historic Copa America Centenario.

The Red Bulls will have Jamaican international Kemar Lawrence on international duty. Though his performances have paled in comparison to 2015, Lawrence is still one of the most dynamic fullbacks in North America today. He has made 11 starts for the Red Bulls this year but has not directly contributed to goal on season. Last year, he went from DC United trialist to Supporters’ Shield winning fullback, earning 23 starts and notching a goal and assist.

Jamaica plays group stages matches from June 5th to the 15th, facing Mexico, Uruguay and Venezuela in Group C.

New York City FC also have one of the strongest fullbacks in North America, Ronald Matarrita. A defender with a taste for goal, Matarrita has started 11 matches, earning two assists for NYCFC. His country, Costa Rica, are in Group A of the tournament with the United States and Paraguay.

Mix Diskerud did not make the cut for the U.S. National Team.

Finally, the Cosmos will be represented in Group D, thanks to Yasmani Duk. His Bolivian squad will face off against Argentina, Chile and Panama in the opening round. Duk, who has missed much of the Spring season, made his starting debut this weekend, scoring a goal in the Cosmos vital victory over Tampa Bay.
