The full 40-man provisional rosters for all participating nations in this year’s Copa Centenario have been finalized, and all three professional New York soccer clubs are well represented.

Mix Diskerud and Ronald Matarrita have earned a provisional call from their respective nations, earning New York City FC some respectable representation. Despite a dour performance in 2015, Diskerud has become an integral cog of the NYCFC midfield, registering a goal and two assists through eight matches and five starts this season. Costa Rican fullback Matarrita has also been a revelation for the club, starting in eight of the club’s nine matches this year, adding an assist. Not only has he been a solid defensive contributor, but he has added width to the attack, sending 19 shots on goal this year – good for fifth on the club.

Diskerud has 36 caps and six goals with the USMNT while Matarrita has six matches to his name.

The Red Bulls will be represented by Kemar Lawrence of Jamaica. Lawrence turned heads last season with New York, earning 23 starts, registering a goal and four assists. He was a part of the Copa America and Gold Cup tournament last season, garnering praise for his work against some of the top attackers in South America — including Lionel Messi. The Red Bulls reserve side has also managed to find representation with Derrick Etienne for Haiti and Junior Flemmings for Jamaica.

Finally, we have the New York Cosmos newcomer Yasmani Duk earning a provisional nod from Bolivia. The 28-year-old striker has made four appearances for the national team, earning a goal in that time. He has yet to earn a start with the Cosmos.

Each nation will cut down their roster to 23 players by May 20th. The Copa Centenario begins on June 3rd, culminating in a grand final on June 26th at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
