FORMER RED BULL MATT KASSEL OPENS UP ABOUT RED BULL GRIPES
Former Red Bull Academy standout Matt Kassel blasted the previous regime in a recent interview on MLSSoccer.com. Calling Backe and his men “foreign guys that didn’t really care about younger American players,” Kassel candidly revealed his feelings about his cut last season.

HOLGERSSON DISGRUNTLED
Anyone who has run into the big Swedish back this year has to note how defeated he has looked. Big Apple Soccer caught up with the defender who says he wouldn’t be surprised if he wasn’t with the team by the summer.

SEASON TICKETS AVAILABLE ON LIVINGSOCIAL
On paper, you can’t get a hotter ticket than the Red Bulls home opener against DC United. The match highlights part of what MLS dubs “rivalry week.” The historic game will give New York an early chance to avenge last year’s playoff loss to their long time foes. All in all, there are many reasons to take in the match in person – but tickets remain available.
