Red Bulls Tim Cahill, Roy Miller called for World Cup Qualifiers

It’s official; two of the Red Bulls hottest players have been called in by their National Teams for World Cup Qualifiers.

New York Red Bulls midfielder Tim Cahill (Australia) and defender Roy Miller (Costa Rica) will depart by month’s end to join their countries as they battle for a spot in the 2014 World Cup.

Cahill leaves after this weekends encounter against the Columbus Crew at Red Bull Arena while Miller departs next week following the Red Bulls home fixture versus Vancouver Whitecaps FC on June 1st.

As discussed on EoS earlier this month, Australia faces a possible make or break month of qualifiers against Group leading Japan, Jordon and Iraq. Cahil currently has 62 caps. Meanwhile, Miller, who has 37 caps with the National Team, looks to participate in the CONCACAF Hexagonal against Honduras, Mexico and Panama.
