First rendering of what Beckham’s Miami Stadium could look like

Miami

At a town hall meeting last month, David Beckham and his Miami ownership group gave the public a first glimpse at what an Major League Soccer stadium in South Florida could look like.

The rendering of a modern, 25,000 seat stadium has now made its way online for the rest of the country to see.

As first revealed by CBS Miami, the rendering shows the stadium being fully enclosed by an undulating silver and glass roof. Some have compared it to Red Bull Arena, though the two tiers of blue seating resemble a sort of futuristic White Hart Lane, Tottenham Hotspur’s stadium.

The club admits, however, that such a rendering is very, very preliminary, and not necessarily how the final product will appear. There are certainly more bumps along the road between now and when (or if) Beckham’s stadium is built.
