Report: Bob Bradley in running for Hull City

Bob Bradley USMNT

Following his successful stints in Norway and France, former USMNT head coach Bob Bradley has been linked with a move to newly-promoted Premier League side Hull City.

Reports from the Hull Daily Mail suggests that the recently vacant manager job is set to be filled by a candidate hailing from another continent, resulting in bookmakers feverishly speculating Bradley to be the top candidate, placing 5/6 odds on the former USMNT and Egypt manager.

The Hull City opportunity recently became available following the sacking of long-term club icon Steve Bruce, who recently expressed that he felt he had to leave “for the sake of the club.” The England native enjoyed a successful and inconsistent four years with the Tigers, leading the side back and forward between the Premier League as well as taking them to an FA Cup Final and the final qualification match for the 2014-15 UEFA Europa League.

This opening would be extremely enjoyable career step-up for Bob Bradley, who has gone on record saying he is “as good as Jurgen Klopp.” If Bradley is rewarded this chance, he may be given the opportunity to support his own aggressive and bold claims.
