There is no doubt that Christian Pulisic is one of the most intriguing young prospects in football today, but is he good enough for FC Barcelona?

According to multiple German and Spanish reports, legendary La Liga side FC Barcelona has intensified its scouting for Borussia Dortmund wunderkind Christian Pulisic.

A report from Mundo Deportivo claims that Barcelona is keen on adding young stars to help guarantee success for the next decade. As current star Lionel Messi continues to age, Barcelona is preparing to build a squad for the future. Recently acquiring Samuel Umtiti and Lucas Digne as well as re-signing Neymar to a multi-year deal, the Catalan club has already begun reshaping for the years to come.

Pulisic can be another piece to those plans. In recent weeks, the 18-year-old Hershey, Pennsylvania native has integrated himself as a consistent starter for Thomas Tuchel’s side, most recently appearing in the full 90 in Dortmund’s 2-1 win against Sporting Lisbon. He has appeared in eight matches across all competitions for his club team, earning six starts and registering a single goal. On the National Team level, Pulisic has appeared for the USMNT nine times, earning two starts and registering three goals.
