Rumors across Stamford Bridge suggests that USMNT international Matt Miazga is set to leave Chelsea on loan to the Bundesliga.

A report by Get West London states the United States’ international Matt Miazga was not present in Chelsea’s training session this morning, thus, fueling the rumors of the 21-year-old’s inevitable departure from Antonio Conte‘s squad.

Once news broke of Miazga’s exclusion from today’s practice session, it was reported by Sport Bild that the former New York Red Bull academy player was expected to finalize a loan move to Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt.

This move comes as no shock as Chelsea’s newest boss Antonio Conte has hinted the move for quite some time. Most recently, Conte spoke to the press about the matter: “He’s a young player, he has a good technique and I think that he is working very well under the physical aspect, but the tactical aspect he can improve a lot and I think that he is improving with his work.”

“I think in this moment of his career it’s good if he plays to improve. To grow in experience to improve. You can improve if you play every game or a lot of games during the season. But he is a good guy and I am very happy about him,” Conte said.
