The New York Red Bulls look set to add some fresh talent to their roster.

According to several reports, the Red Bulls are closing in on signing centerback Gideon Baah and Jamaican midfielder/striker Junior Flemmings.

According to Finish outlet Urheilu, Baah, is currently in New York City undergoing a physical for his eventual move to the club. Meanwhile, Flemmings, who trialed with the Red Bulls last season, has gone on record with the Jamaica Star announcing his signature with the club.

“I will be joining New York Red Bulls in the MLS for the upcoming season,” Flemmings said. “Everything is in place, so I should be leaving for New York in the United States before February 15th, as preseason training is set to start on February 20.”

Flemmings eventual destination is unknown. Based on the calendar dates offered, the Red Bulls would already be in Florida preseason training by the 20th, making a USL move a possibility.

In the case of Baah, 24, he is said to already be in New York City, and has agreed to a “multi-year” deal. The young Ghanaian centerback, who recently earned his first international cap, would be a key figure in replacing the Chelsea-bound Matt Miazga.
