If you plan on attending the second leg of the Eastern Conference Finals between the New York Red Bulls and Columbus Crew, you better act fast.

EoS has learned that under 1,000 tickets remain for the pivotal encounter at Red Bull Arena.

The match, which will take place in two weeks on November 29th, pits the top two Eastern Conference teams this season against each other, with the winner moving on to the MLS Cup Final. If New York win, they will host the event, thanks to their standing as the 2015 Supporters’ Shield champions.

New York and Columbus have met three times this season, with the Red Bulls taking victories at Mapfre and Red Bull Arena. Columbus earned their lone victory over New York this season at home. These teams have met twice in the playoffs since 1996, with Columbus besting the Metrostars in 1998, and ten years later, beating the Red Bulls for the MLS Cup in Carson, California.

Like the second leg encounter at Red Bull Arena, the first leg at Mapfre Stadium has become a hot ticket item. In fact, Columbus sold out of their initial allocation, forcing the club to expand capacity with several general admission, standing room only tickets for the event.

    That great news!!

At least they are not giving away Tickets like the Cosmos did to the championship game.

    • Tom

New York Cosmos didn’t give out tickets and did a great job filling their stadium for the championship final.

As a Cosmos and Red Bulls fan this is an exciting year for both teams, Cosmos champions last week and hopefully NYRB champions soon as well!

      • The Real insider

The cosmos and the NASL gave away at least 4000 tickets for free there was very little demand and did not want to be embarrassed with a half empty stadium. Information comes from staff at Hofstra.

        • Tom

Nice try but that’s pure BS – I know for a fact there were no such free tickets given out for the NASL’s Championship Final at Hoftsta. They had an excellent turnout and it was near capacity for the showcase NASL final.

Good to see the NYRB’s selling out for their conference final game, they have a beautiful stadium and its a great atmosphere when full!

First cosmos didn’t didnt give out tickets and second all teams do it some way or another so I’m positive red bulls did it for this game as well

Ticket prices are actually up about 50% for this game compared to the DC game.

  • slowleftarm

Good to hear but it should be sold out for a match of this magnitude.

    • jimbo

Ummm, what magnitude exactly? Is this ‘El Clasico’ I’ve been hearing about? Harrison vs Columbus!

      • slowleftarm

For soccer in this country this is close to as big as it gets. It’s not El Clasico but RBA is also not a 100k stadium.

        • EPL Fan

          I agree.

          Even I will be there.

If they’d determine a game time, some of us could decide if we could go. Is it that hard to know what time the game will be????

  • Anonymous

It won’t look full until the 35th minute at least

  • #RedBullShout

Waaah! That’s more people than the metrostars ever drew to a playoff game! Don’t tell me this! It’s ruining my fantasy of the supporters buying the team, renaming it Metrostars FC & hiring Mike Perke and Rhett Harty to run everything! Waaaahhh!

Was cute the first hundred times. Now you’re just a douche. No ones interested.

      • #Redbullshout

        Waaaaah!

        You calied me a douche!

That never would have happened if Mike Petke was still here!

  • tommy lan

I’m sure it will be sold out very quickly, glad to hear there will be a 25K full house there cheering on the troops for the semifinal! MLS Cup at home would be awesome!
