Tale of the Tape: DC United host the New York Red Bulls

This week on EoS, you have been given a taste of just how vicious the I-95 rivalry has been over the years. Today, it continues with a classic battle for second place as DC United host the New York Red Bulls at RFK Stadium.

Though they will be playing for second banana, there are plenty of subplots to watch out for. The Red Bulls will be partaking in their first match in yet another post-Rafa Marquez era. His suspension will compound upon a team already crippled by injuries as New York is missing five players for this match – Juan Agudelo, Wilman Conde, Roy Miller and Teemu Tainio. DC United will be led by a hungry and revenge minded Dwayne De Rosario who is scoreless on the year.
