New Daddy Thierry Henry out for Sporting KC clash

The Red Bulls will be forced to play a crucial Eastern Conference clash against Sporting KC without their team captain Thierry Henry.

The reason? Henry had a baby!

Well, sort of. The legendary Arsenal striker and Red Bulls goal scorer is a new Daddy to a baby boy.

While Henry is celebrating (and perhaps losing sleep) with his newborn, the Red Bulls will head out for the first of two vital road games. Current Eastern conference leaders Sporting KC own a two point advantage over New York. This will be the Red Bulls first of three encounters with KC as they head to their final nine matches.

Right around the corner? A third clash against main rival DC United.

These will be the final two matches for New York before a long international break; perfect timing for Daddy Henry who will need as much rest as possible between diaper changes and feedings.
