Three New York Red Bull II players made the USL All-League Teams, adding to New York’s already noteworthy campaign.

Brandon Allen and Aaron Long made the first team while Zach Carroll was the notable addition to the second team.

Brandon Allen finished tied for second in goals with 15 in 2016 and is joined by Jack McBean (LA Galaxy II) and Sean Okoli (FC Cincinnati). Aaron Long was also on the first team, having not only proven to be one of the best defenders in the league, but also earning a call up to the New York Red Bulls MLS side late in the season. He and Allen have started each of the three USL Playoff games and are expected to start on Sunday against Swope Park Rangers in the final.

Zach Carroll was included in the second USL All-Team after an impressive season that started with being cut from the MLS senior side. Carroll wouldn’t take no for an answer, joining the USL side and proving to be a force with 20 appearances for NYRB II. Carroll, much like Long, appears to be approaching MLS ready and could be featured on the first team next season.
