Following two epic performances in Group A today, the U.S Men’s National Team will potentially avoid a difficult match against skillful Brazil — and a strong home field advantage in Seattle.

After a valiant 1-0 win against Paraguay, the United States Men’s National Team moved to the top of Group A. As it stands, with Colombia’s shocking 3-2 defeat at the hands of Costa Rica, the United States will move on as Group A’s winner, meaning they will face the second-place team in Group B, who is currently Peru. This match is set to take place on June 16 at 9:30 PM EST in Seattle, Washington at CenturyLink Field.

Although Peru and Brazil are currently tied in points in Group B, Brazil stays on top due to goal differential following their crushing 7-1 win against Haiti.

Group B is still up in the air. Brazil and Peru are currently tied with four points, but Brazil has the advantage due to goal differential. On the other hand, Ecuador is in third place, only one point behind Peru and Brazil. A win for Ecuador tomorrow night against Haiti could shake up the rankings enormously.

The U.S has learned where they will play next round, but, they will not know who they will play until the final Group B match tomorrow night.

Deciding Matches:

Ecuador vs. Haiti: June 12 (6:30 PM EST)

Brazil vs. Peru: June 12 (8:30 PM EST)
