Following their exciting yet disappointing trip to Rio for the 2016 Olympic Games, the United States International Women’s Team is set to return to play in late October against the rising European side, Switzerland.

U.S. Soccer announced earlier today that the Women’s national team will face off twice against Switzerland on the 19th and the 23rd of October in scheduled friendlies.

The first match will kickoff at the home of MLS side Real Salt Lake, Rio Tinto Stadium, in Sandy, Utah at 7 p.m. MT on ESPN 2. Four days later, the second game will take place at the new U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, where coverage begins at noon on FS1 and kickoff takes place at 12:45 p.m. CT.

These friendlies will only be the third and fourth meetings between the two countries, with the U.S. winning both previous meetings. The sides last met in March of 2015 in the Algarve Cup in Portugal, where the USA claimed a simple 3-0 victory.

Currently, Switzerland sits atop its group for the upcoming 2017 UEFA Women’s Euro, grabbing all 18 possible points from their previous six games, suggesting that they will be a formidable foe for the USA.

You can trash referees and wrip up their red/ yellow cards if you are clint dempsey, but you cant trash your opponent if you are hope solo. Why is Sunil not getting called out for his bias??? Why is she suspended for 6 months and dempsey a couple of games???
