Juninho was the talk of the first half in last week’s Desert Diamond Cup encounter against the New England Revolution. He put in a stellar performance in an otherwise painful New York Red Bulls loss against their division rivals.
In case you missed it, here is the Brazilian playmaker scoring his first goal in a Red Bull uniform.

@EmpireOfSoccer Man, what a difference free kicks, corners, and long distance shots will be this year. That’s going to be great to witness
@EmpireOfSoccer Good thing we have a 38-year-old to provide an offensive spark. :-(
@FaustMN @EmpireOfSoccer Age Ain’t Nuthin But A Number Tom ha ha
@FaustMN @empireofsoccer Since he’s older shouldn’t it be a slow burn? Sounds more appealing too! He’ll be fine! Played enough last season!
A nice goal from Juninho. One thing is for sure is is definitely in great shape this preseason. He was running all over the pitch with a lot of energy. If he stays fit for the whole season then he should have himself a good year with the Red Bulls.
@EmpireOfSoccer thank you because for some reason the match highlights uploaded by mls on youtube completely cut that out
