*NOTE: When Thierry Henry says “hopefully,” Tina Cervasio clarified via twitter that he meant “he said he’s just hoping to stay injury free through pre-season!”

Things that make you go, “Hmmm…”

I’m playing it back and it just seems like there’s a negative tone in his “hopefully”. And, I it doesn’t sound like a “Please, God, let me stay injury-free”. Does anyone else agree?

It’s grasping at straws to speculate what he really meant in his heart (if not about injuries) but it leaves me with a wary feeling about the organization right now. Is he, too, feeling uneasy about the lack of coaching in New York? Is he, too, unimpressed by the potential signing of Paulo Sousa?

Who knows, but it makes one wonder.
